Ex Integra Causa advises companies on disputes, regulatory decisions and legal arrangements affecting their operations in Mexico. Constitutional and administrative litigation is central to the practice.

Our litigation and advisory work encompasses government action, commercial relationships and intellectual property. We assess the legal position and available courses of action in light of the client's business objectives.

Disputes and regulatory decisions

We represent clients before administrative authorities and courts, including in constitutional challenges through amparo. The work addresses the merits of a dispute, its procedural requirements and the protection available while proceedings are pending.

Business arrangements and operations

Corporate advice, contracts and the protection of intellectual property support the firm's contentious work. Experience in regulated industries informs our assessment of how administrative requirements affect commercial activity and the legal arrangements on which it depends.

§ 3 · Practice

Constitutional and administrative litigation

We challenge government action affecting business operations through administrative litigation and Mexican constitutional relief proceedings, known as amparo. This is a principal focus of the firm's practice.

Regulatory decisions and enforcement

The practice addresses administrative decisions, regulatory restrictions and enforcement measures. Experience includes health regulation, environmental enforcement, tax administration and social security obligations. Our work considers both the grounds for challenge and the consequences of the disputed action for the client's operations.

Judicial protection

We assess procedural routes and the availability of interim relief, then conduct proceedings before administrative courts and federal courts. Constitutional representation also addresses issues arising from judicial proceedings, including the protection of procedural rights. The strategy accounts for the relationship between the underlying dispute and the constitutional grounds for review.

§ 4 · Practice

Copyright and AI

Ex Integra Causa advises on the protection, commercial use and enforcement of intellectual property in Mexico, from registration and licensing to administrative and judicial disputes.

Rights and commercial use

We advise on trademarks, copyright and industrial designs, including registration, renewals and the assignment or licensing of rights. Contractual work addresses the terms on which intellectual property is used in business relationships.

Intellectual property disputes

Representation encompasses registration disputes, cancellation and invalidity proceedings, infringement claims and related constitutional challenges. We develop the legal arguments and evidentiary approach required for proceedings before the relevant authorities and courts.

Technology-related disputes

The firm's experience includes challenges concerning copyright protection for AI-generated works and the assessment of evidence in digital environments. Technical experts assist where the issues require specialist analysis.
